Social Media Coordinator

TapSnap is a photo booth franchise with over 160 locations around the world. We offer open-air, digitally-integrated, and fully-customizable photo booths that enhance events and entertain guests while driving results for businesses.

We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator to work in our North Vancouver head office. As our Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating compelling social media posts, email newsletters, and blog posts with a focus on increasing engagement across our digital properties. We are looking for a team player with a fun personality who can contribute to the development of our online marketing strategy in a strategic and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all social media profiles for a large network (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
  • Create engaging content that supports our franchisees’ businesses and goals
  • Create bi-weekly newsletter for both internal and external distribution
  • Write one blog post per week
  • Ensure content planning, production, and publishing is on time and on brief
  • Monitor and maintain online activity and oversee reputation management
  • Research trends, emerging technology, and opportunities to innovate within the digital space
  • Train staff and franchisees on how to use different social media platforms


  • At least 1 year experience managing social media profiles for business accounts (examples of previous work required)
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology, search engines, and new trends
  • Advanced knowledge of Social Media platforms (including paid advertising) – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to use different voices for different audiences
  • Proven track record of listening and engaging with an online community
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Comfortable in multi-tasking environment; ability to manage tasks with minimum supervision
  • Positive and outgoing personality
  • Accurate and detail oriented; proactive and takes pride in quality of work


  • Part time: 20 hours per week / $16 – $20 per hour depending on the experience
